Searcheeze and the autopost

The first month of private beta of Searcheeze was both exciting and full of hard work. The transition from Ibrii to Searcheeze was smooth for the majority of the users but some of them had some problems to login with the old password. Anyway everything is ok now and if you still cannot login with the old Ibrii password just use the reset password link.

We’ve fixed many bugs, also thanks to your feedback, made some UI improvements and we have also added the autopost feature.

We’re thrilled to announce that finally you can make your collections public and share them with just one click thanks to the autopost feature!

Now we support: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and WordPress. During the next weeks we are going to support more services.

Publishing your collections through the autopost is very easy.

1. Only the first time you need to link your social accounts to Searcheeze. Go to the profile page, scroll down to the “Autopost Settings” section and click on the social accounts you want to link.

2. After you’ve linked the accounts, whenever you want to publish a collection you have to click the publish button.

3. To share the collection through the accounts you’ve previously linked you have to click the “Post” button and we will do the dirty job for you! One click to share you collection everywhere.

That’s all! Enjoy Searcheeze and the autopost.

Please, give us your feedback: http://feedback.searcheeze.com

Much more to come, stay tuned! :)

From Ibrii to Searcheeze: migration process and countdown!

From Ibrii to Searcheeze

After almost 2 great years Ibrii is going to change and its evolution is called Searcheeze. In a few hours Ibrii will stop working and Searcheeze will take its place.

Closed beta Searcheeze launch countdown:

We want to reassure all Ibrii users that they will NOT lose any post/note they already have on ibrii.com. Also their login credentials on ibrii.com will be the same on searcheeze.com. The only thing that will change for them is that they will have to login on searcheeze.com instead of ibrii.com.

The migration process will be transparent and painless for each ibrii user.

It might be possibile that the service will be unavailable or discontinued for a bit. In this case we ask you to be patient: it’s  worth the hassle!

It might also be possible that for the first days after the migration from ibrii to searcheeze, some features will not be available. But don’t worry because we are woking hard to deliver great features during the next weeks.

Remember that Searcheeze is still a beta. Therefore if you find any bug or you think that an important feature is missing, please, let us know by using the feedback form or by email: contact[AT]searcheeze.com.

Since it’s a closed beta, new users can register and use searcheeze only upon an invite or by leaving an email here:

Searcheeze is the result of two years of feedback from Ibrii users, we can assure you: you will get addicted!

Searcheeze, search collaboration made easy!

Searcheeze:collect, collaborate, share

Searcheeze makes it possible, for the first time ever, to search a topic in a collaborative way!

Do you know what “collaborative search” means?

Well, here it is a clear explanation from the book “Collaborative Web Search: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How” :

“The process of more than one person searching in collaboration with others for a shared goal is called collaborative search.”

Do you know why a collaborative search is better than a “classic single search”? Well, still from the above mentioned book:

When groups of people searching with a shared goal are able to effectively collaborate on Web search tasks, they can enjoy several advantages over solo searching, such as increased coverage of the relevant information space, higher confidence in the quality of their findings, and greater productivity due to a reduction in unnecessary redundant work.

Who can get advantages from search collaboration?

The answer has never been so simple: anyone who is searching for something on the web.

Some examples:

- a group of friends looking for a gift to buy for a friend’s birthday;

- students working on the same class assignment;

- a family looking for the next holiday destination;

- journalists searching for information related to the article they have to write;

The above are just a few examples of situations when search collaboration is useful.

Of course, your imagination can help you come up with more and better examples!

Still thinking  whether search collaboration is useful for you?!

Stay tuned, Searcheeze will make your web searches more efficient!
